Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how HOST Healthcare Services (“HOST”, “we”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our platform at hosthealthcare.com.

1. Information We Collect

When you browse the HOST marketplace, we collect standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used solely for security monitoring and aggregate analytics.

When you submit an inquiry or asset listing, we collect the personal information you provide — including your name, email address, phone number, and WhatsApp number. This information is used to facilitate communication between you and asset owners or the HOST team.

We do not collect payment card information. All financial transactions are arranged directly between parties and handled outside the HOST platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

To respond to inquiries and facilitate connections between healthcare providers and asset owners.

To send transactional communications related to your use of HOST — inquiry confirmations, listing updates, and administrative notices.

To improve the HOST platform based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.

To comply with applicable Nigerian law and regulatory requirements.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

HOST uses Supabase for data storage, which operates on secure, encrypted infrastructure hosted in compliant data centres. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Media files (images and videos) are stored on Cloudinary's secure content delivery network.

Access to personal data is restricted to authorised HOST administrators and is governed by role-based access controls.

Despite these measures, no internet transmission is completely secure. We encourage users to exercise caution when sharing sensitive information online.

4. Cookies

HOST uses essential cookies to maintain your session when logged into the admin panel. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that identify individual users.

You may disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to browse the public marketplace, but will prevent access to the admin panel.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to the personal data HOST holds about you.

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal data.

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@hosthealthcareservices.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

HOST integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies: Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudinary (media storage), and WhatsApp (customer communication).

When you follow a WhatsApp link from HOST, you are subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy. We do not control or have access to the content of WhatsApp conversations.

7. Children's Privacy

HOST is a professional B2B marketplace intended for use by healthcare providers and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of HOST after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

For significant changes, we will provide notice via the platform or by email where we hold your contact details.
